Scent profile
Escapade by Ritz Carlton Hotel fragrance oil is inspired by the Ritz Carlton Hotel's hotel collection. It opens with fresh, clean top notes of lemon and bergamot, hints of the ocean, and a delightful floral heart of jasmine. These intertwine and blend with the deeper, more glorious fragrances of the base notes. Divine amber and deep, mysterious musk bring the final notes to the sublime scent experience that is Escapade.

IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution. The maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you plan to make.
It's important to note that the maximum dilutions are solely for safety reasons, based on the oil's chemical composition. In some cases, these are quite high because all the components are relatively benign. These amounts aren't necessarily recommendations for how much to use in your recipe. They can make the product smell too strong or prohibitively expensive to produce. As long as you stay below the recommended limits, you can be as generous or thrifty as you like. Use more, use less. We'll leave the creative stuff to you.
According to the International Fragrance Regulatory Authority, the following maximum dilutions apply based on the ingredients used.
Instructions for use
Candles
Candles and related scented articles fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety standards. Escapade by Ritz Carlton Hotel fragrance oil has no usage restrictions for Category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as you like.
Soaps and Bath Fragrances
Escapade by Ritz Carlton Hotel fragrance oil is well-suited for bath products. The maximum dilution for personal care applications, such as lotion, shampoo, oil, liquid, soap, or any other IFRA Category 9 product, is 5.55%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.
The maximum dilution for making an aerosol room spray or any other item propelled using a pump is category 10B and 26.40%.
Handmade perfumery
Fragrance oils are wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For colognes in category 3B, designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 1.19% is appropriate. This applies to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For hydroalcoholic perfumery products in category 4A, designed to be used on unshaven skin, a maximum dilution of 14.04% is appropriate.
If you choose to use Escapade Ritz Carlton Hotel fragrance oil in deodorant or antiperspirant products in category 2, the maximum dilution is 4.09%. This applies to roll-on or body spray products.
Body care
According to IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for Escapade By Bytz Carlton Hotel fragrance oil for category 5A is set at 12.58% if used for body creams, foot care products, insect repellents or talc powder.
For specialized hand creams or fragranced hand sanitizers in category 5C, the maximum dilution would be 2.42%.
Safety precaution
Escapade by Ritz Carlton Hotel fragrance oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any type of lip or mouth-related product according to its categories 1 and 6.
We recommend testing a small amount before scaling up to larger formulations. As with all Vinevida products, these fragrance oils are for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.
