NO. 22 - Christmas Splendor Fragrance Oil
Christmas Splendor fragrance oil is not a pure essential oil; it contains fixatives to create a longer-lasting and more fragrant product. It works beautifully for candle making, soap making, and personal care applications such as lotion, shampoo, and body wash. This list is not exhaustive, and we encourage you to play, create, and invent a million other ways to use it. We recommend trying a small amount before scaling up to larger formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products, these fragrance oils are intended for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.

Linen Air Fresheners and Sprays
Dilute a couple of drops of Christmas Splendour fragrance oil in a teaspoon of rubbing alcohol, then fill your spray bottle with water. Freshen up your furniture, sheets, and carpet.

Safety precaution
Christmas Splendour fragrance oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for lip or mouth related products under categories 1 and 6.
We recommend testing a small amount before scaling up to larger formulations, as with all Vinevida products. These fragrance oils are for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.
While Christmas Splendour fragrance oil won't have therapeutic properties because it's a synthetic product, it's a wonderful way to scent your home. Handmade perfumery
Fragrance oils are wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For colognes designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 0.13% is appropriate. This applies to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For products designed for unshaven skin, you can be more liberal. The maximum dilution would then be 1.66%.
If you choose to use Christmas Splendour fragrance oil in deodorant or antiperspirant products, the maximum dilution is 0.27%. This applies to roll-on or body spray products.
Body care
According to IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for Christmas Splendour fragrance oil is set at 0.42% when used in body creams, foot care products, insect repellents, or talcum powder. Hand care products, including sanitizers, have a maximum dilution of 0.42%, and facial preparations have a lower limit of 0.27%.
Soaps and Bath Fragrances
Christmas Splendour fragrance oil is well-suited for bath products. The maximum dilution for soaps, shampoos, or any other IFRA Category 9 product is 3.26%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.
The maximum dilution for making a room spray or any other item that will be propelled using a pump is 11.99%.
Candles
Fragrance oils are far superior to essential oils for candle making due to their stronger aroma. Candles and related scented items fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety regulations. Christmas Splendour fragrance oil has no usage restrictions for Category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as you like.
