IFRA Guidelines for Maximum Dilution

The maximum dilution for this fragrance oil depends on the products you are planning to make.

It's important to note that the maximum dilutions are purely for safety reasons, based on the oil's chemical composition. In some cases, these are quite high because all the components are relatively benign. These amounts aren't necessarily recommendations for how much to use in your recipe. They can make the product smell too strong or prohibitively expensive to produce. As long as you stay below the recommended limits, you can be as generous or thrifty as you like. Use more, use less. We'll leave the creative stuff to you.

According to the International Fragrance Regulatory Authority, the following maximum dilutions apply based on the ingredients used.

Safety precaution

NO. 1821 Fragrance oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for any type of lip or mouth related products according to its categories 1 and 6.

We recommend testing a small amount before scaling up to larger formulations. As with all Vinevida products, these fragrance oils are intended for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.

While fragrance oil NO. 1821 won't have therapeutic properties because it's a synthetic product, it's a wonderful way to scent your home. Have fun experimenting and making your home an increasingly beautiful expression of yourself.
