NO. 27 - Coconut Cream Fragrance Oil
Coconut cream fragrance oil is not a pure essential oil; it contains fixatives to create a longer-lasting and more fragrant product. It works beautifully for candle making, soap making, and personal care applications such as lotion, shampoo, and body wash. This list is not exhaustive, and we encourage you to play, create, and invent a million other ways to use it. We recommend trying a small amount before scaling up to larger formulations. As with all VINEVIDA products, these fragrance oils are intended for external use only and should not be ingested under any circumstances.

Instructions for use
Handmade perfumery
Fragrance oils are wonderful additions to handmade perfumes. For colognes designed to be applied to freshly shaved skin, a maximum dilution of 0.56% is appropriate. This applies to both Eau de Toilettes and fine fragrances. For products designed for unshaven skin, you can be more liberal. The maximum dilution would then be 6.62%.
If you use coconut cream fragrance oil in deodorant or antiperspirant products, the maximum dilution is 0.43%. This applies to roll-on or body spray products.
Body care
According to IFRA regulations, the maximum safe dilution for coconut cream fragrance oil is 2.92% when used in body creams, foot care products, insect repellents, or talcum powder. Hand care products, including sanitizers, have a maximum dilution of 1.14%, and facial preparations up to 0.29%.
Soaps and Bath Fragrances
Coconut cream fragrance oil is well-suited for bath products. The maximum dilution for soaps, shampoos, or any other IFRA Category 9 product is 2.62%. This category also covers laundry pretreatment and cleaning products.
The maximum dilution for making a room spray or any other item that is propelled using a pump is 12.3%.
Candles
Fragrance oils are far superior to essential oils for candle making due to their stronger aroma. Candles and related scented articles fall under Category 12 of the IFRA safety standards. Coconut cream fragrance oil has no usage restrictions for Category 12. Feel free to use as much or as little as you like.
Safety precaution
Coconut cream fragrance oil is not approved under IFRA safety guidelines for lip or mouth related products according to its categories 1 and 6.
