Our premium fragrance oils are formulated to be suitable for creating your own candles, soaps, room sprays, skin and hair care formulations, cleaning products, for use in home aroma diffusers, and with linens, bedding, and much more. They are perfect for blending together to create a unique scent or for using individually. Below are some uses for fragrance oil to help you enjoy fragrance in your everyday life.
CANDLES
Spray your favorite fragrance oil onto the wax near the wick of a candle before lighting it. As the candle burns, the oil will heat up and the fragrance will spread throughout the room. This is one of our favorite uses for fragrance oil.
ROOM AIR FRESHENER
Add several drops of fragrance oil to a spray bottle filled with water. Use the spray in any room that needs a refresh.
CARPETS
Add several drops of fragrance oil and baking soda and mix well. Let it dry for a day, then sprinkle the baking soda onto the carpet and let it sit for 30 minutes to 1 hour. Vacuum to refresh the carpet.
POTPOURRI
Add several drops of your favorite fragrance oil to the potpourri that needs refreshing. This can be repeated as often as you like.
CLOTHES
Place a few drops of fragrance oil on paper towels. Take the individual paper towels and place them between sheets, pillowcases, or towels.
DRAWERS
Add a few drops of fragrance oil to a cotton ball and place it in the corners of your drawers to freshen up stored clothes.
LAUNDRY
Washing machine: Add several drops of fragrance oil to your washing machine, after it fills with water, with each wash for fresh-smelling clothes.
Dryer: Use several drops of any fragrance oil on a cloth approximately 15 cm in size and place it in the dryer with your clothes to obtain a dryer solution.
DRY DOG SHAMPOO
1 cup of baking soda
1 cup of cornstarch
10 drops of EEO fragrance oil (vanilla and coconut creams are nice, feel free to make your own blends) See scent options here
You can apply the powder in different ways.
- An empty and clean baby powder container
- Make your own cocktail shaker with any container with a lid that you like. You'll just need to make a few holes in the top.
Shake the shampoo over your dog, starting at the bottom and keeping away from the head. Then, wait about 5 minutes and begin brushing your dog's coat to distribute the powder. I use my hands and the brush to get a little around their ears, etc.
*Remember that your dog is NOT ingesting the oil or rubbing it on or into their skin. The oil is there for fragrance only and is not concentrated enough to harm your furry friend.
TOILET SPRAY (POO POURRI SPRAY)
1 teaspoon isopropyl alcohol
30-40 drops of fragrance oil (Your choice)
Water
Pour 1 teaspoon of isopropyl alcohol into a 100ml spray bottle
Add 30-40 drops of your favorite essential oil. Fill the container with water and shake well. Spray 3-4 times in the toilet bowl before use to neutralize odors.
BODY WASH
6 cups of water
2 bars (4.4 oz) of Dove soap (make sure it says Beauty Bar)
1 tablespoon of coconut oil
Preparation: Using a cheese grater, grate the Dove soap bars into a large bowl. Bring the water to a simmer in a large pot. When the water is simmering, stir in the grated soap and coconut oil with a spatula. Stir constantly (but not continuously) until the soap melts, about 7 to 10 minutes. Remove from the heat, add several drops of your favorite essential oil, and let it sit uncovered in the pot for 2 hours. Stir once after 2 hours and bottle it in your containers using a funnel. An empty shampoo bottle works well for this.
FOOT SCRUB
Granulated sugar
Olive or coconut oil
Aromatic oil of your choice
Pour 1 cup of granulated sugar into a mixing bowl. Gradually add your favorite olive or coconut oil and mix until you have a slightly moist but grainy consistency. Add a few drops of your favorite essential oil. Transfer the scrub to a container and enjoy!
MASSAGE AND/OR BODY OIL
120 ml of base oil for massage (it can be olive, coconut, sweet almond or any you prefer)
15-20 drops of aromatic oil
Container with lid
Thoroughly mix the fragrance oil and carrier oil and pour the mixture into a container for use.
